High Quality Let It Ride Rentals in Chicago
A casino variation of poker, Let It Ride is played against the casino rather than against other players. The game’s relatively slow pace and the chance to pull back two of the three bets have made Let It Ride popular with more conservative gamblers. The player wagers on a poker hand consisting of three cards in the player’s hand and two community cards in the dealer’s hand. Like in video poker, the payout is determined by the ranking of the player’s hand and the payout schedule. At Chicago Casino Event Planners, we offer professional Let it Ride rentals, tables, dealers and all the accessories.
History of Let It Ride
Let It Ride was developed and introduced to casinos back in 1993. This actually makes it one of the newest casino games to date! Let It Ride originated in Reno, Nevada. It was created by Shuffle Masters Inc, originally developed as a marketing tool for their automatic shuffling machines they created. However, casinos weren’t buying it. They needed to create something that specifically tied to their technology, thus Let It Ride came to be. The game is unique because players at the table are not playing against each other, nor are they playing against the dealer. The main objective of the game is to create a winning combination cards which will pay out based on the strength of their hand.
What is Let It Ride?
To play Let It Ride first, you place three bets: the ante bet, spot one bet, and spot two bet. You will then receive three cards face down while the dealer then puts two “community cards” in on the table that are to be shared among the players at the table. Upon reviewing these cards you get to decide if you want to “pull back” your first bet. When all the players have decided to either pull back their bet, or “let it ride” the dealer shows the first community card. The players are then faced with the same decision to either pull back their second bet, or to let it ride. A common misconception among players is when you are allowed to pull back, or let it ride. If you pull back your first bet, you can still let it ride on your second one and vice versa. Then of course, you can let it ride on both bets. After the decisions have been made, the second community card is flipped, and winnings are distributed where necessary. The only bet you cannot pull back, is your ante bet. That one is final.
